Abstract
The present study comparatively analyses the assessment results by parents and therapists of those adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems who enrolled at the comprehensive youth treatment-rehabilitation center during the five-month. 93 parents administered the K-CBCL, and 31 therapists were grouped into three-person teams, and each team administered K-TRF. The overall agreement level between the assessment results of the parents group and those of the therapists group was assessed, and then the consistence levels between the two groups with respect to demographic variables and the main problem areas were also analytically compared. It was found that the agreement level between parents and therapists was low. It was also found that the two groups evaluated the problems of the adolescents to be within ¡®high-risk level¡¯ but the parents assessed the problems as more severe than the therapists did. Lastly, the present study discusses the implications and limitations of the research findings.
